Accio Credit Card: A New Edition of ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ Is Headed to Shelves

Calling all Potterheads: A new edition of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is headed to shelves.

Designed and illustrated by award-winning design studio MinaLima (which is best known for establishing the visual graphic style of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films), this fully illustrated edition is set to ship October 20, 2020.

In this collector-worthy edition, Rowling's complete and unabridged text is accompanied by full-color illustrations on almost every page and eight exclusive, interactive paper craft elements—including a fold-out Hogwarts letter.

First published by Scholastic in the U.S. in 1998, the beloved series has sold more than 500 million copies worldwide.

In a statement, Ellie Berger, the president of Scholastic Trade, said, “This new edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the perfect way to start a new generation of readers on their Hogwarts journey, and at the same time is sure to be a treasured keepsake for fans to add to their collection.”

And with that, we're off to preorder our own copy.
