- Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller says she finally has enough hair post-cancer treatments to go to the hair salon.
- She posted photos of her new look on Instagram.
- Abby was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma in 2018 and was going through cancer treatments throughout 2019.
Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller is sharing images of her trip to the salon for her first haircut and color since she finished her 10th and final round of chemotherapy in April 2019.
"Hair Did! Finally have enough hair to color & trim! Woo Hoo!," she captioned her post.
Abby was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer that starts in the white blood cells and can be lethal within weeks without treatment, back in April 2018. She documented her treatment and rehabilitation treatment all through 2019. She also had to learn how to walk again after two emergency surgeries on her spine, in addition to her chemotherapy.
Since then, she has been wearing wigs. In the Dance Moms Resurrection trailer, Abby even showed her bald head and demonstrated what it was like to put on her wig.
While it's been a rough road for Abby, she's stayed positive and busy in her recovery, posting about the Abby Lee Dance Company and her other ventures.
And a few weeks ago, she also revealed that she got a recent facelift, saying "I did this for myself!" after undergoing a long year of treatments and surgeries.
Keep doing you, Abby Lee!
