Abby Lee Miller is back in the hospital, this time for a total knee replacement. The infamous Dance Moms coach took to Instagram late last night to share the news that she was about to undergo the intensive surgery that has apparently been a long time coming.

“You know that I’ve had three knee surgeries before and I’ve been putting off this total knee replacement for about seven years, eight years now,” Miller said in the Instagram video. “It was always one more episode, one more season, another special, or we have nationals, so the time has come."

In April of last year, Miller underwent an emergency spinal surgery following her diagnosis of Burkitt lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Since then, the dance teacher has endured 10 rounds of chemotherapy. Despite this, Miller still seemed optimistic about the upcoming operation, saying that her doctor is hopefully “not going to just put a new knee in but maybe like a robotic supersonic knee so it’ll make me rock so I can hop and I can leap tall buildings in a single bound.”

Miller ended the video by asking her viewers to pray for her.

Since posting, Miller has received an outpour of support and wishes for a speedy recovery from friends, fans and dance students alike, including messages from Dance Moms season 8 cast members Elliana Walmsley and Brady Farrar.

The surgery comes almost a week after Miller fell out of her wheelchair at the Pittsburgh Airport following a flight on American Airlines. Miller said the transfer from her aisle seat to her wheelchair went less than smoothly and landed her on the ground in front of a long line of passengers waiting to board the flight.

American Airlines has since issued an apology to Miller.
