'90-Day Fiancé's' Ashley Martson Has The Sweetest Relationship With Her Kids
Amidst reports that Ashley Martson, star of TLC's 90-Day Fiancé, has filed for divorce from Jay Smith, some fans are wondering about Ashley's kids.
Ashley has two children from previous relationships, but rarely posts about them on social media.
Ashley once described Jay as an "extremely mature" father.
The words 90-Day Fiancé bring several things to mind: love (ugh, so ~pure~)...immigration...and one name in particular, Ashley Martson. The reality TV star first captivated viewers during season six of TLC's TV show when she fell head over heels for Jay Smith, 20, while in Jamaica.
Now the 32-year-old is making headlines again, but this time it's a lot less romance and butterflies and a lot more well, errr, drama.
After the couple wed in May 2018, Ashley reportedly filed for divorce from Jay for the second (!) time in late April 2019 amidst claims that Jay cheated yet again (!), according to US Weekly. FYI: The first time she filed was in January but, per Us, Ashley withdrew the paperwork after nine days. At that point Jay had already been accused of cheating once, and had even been caught using a dating app just three days after their nuptials. Oy.
Safe to say this relationship has had more than its fair share of ups and downs in its, uhh, less-than-a-year lifespan. But through it all, Ashley has had at least one thing to keep her steady: her adorable little family.
Ashley's a mom to two children.
Ashley has two children, a boy and a girl around 11 and 7 years-old, from previous relationships, according to YourTango.
Although things might be a bit different now, In Touch reports that Ashley once described Jay as an "extremely mature" step-father to her little ones. While she doesn't show their faces on social media or allow them to be filmed for TV, the reality star has posted about her little ones a few times on Instagram sharing special moments, and professing her love for them. Classic mom moves.

In December, Ashley shared a mother-daughter pic in which she and her daughter are wearing matching denim jackets. And most recently, around Mother's Day, she posted a photo from the day her daughter was born, or in her words, the day she "learned what unconditional love is." Later in the same caption, Ashley reveals she wishes she had a similar shot with her son but unfortunately doesn't have one because he was a preemie and "whisked away."
Ashley and Jay don't have any children together.
The couple was married for less than a year, and did not start a family together during that time. Ashley told Us Weekly " “I had my heart broken.” She then added: "Cheating is not okay."
