ML: Congress begged the Trump administration to provide testimony and/or documents for several hearings this year. In most cases, the Trump adm refused to allow government employees to testify or provide documents. In the few hearings, they participated in the House Republicans, except Will Hurd, used the time to make statements about conspiracy theories instead of asking relevant questions about the subject being investigated. Are we expected to believe that now there is an impeachment inquiry 1) the White House is going to suddenly start providing testimony and documents, 2)the Republican Congess members(i.e. Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes, Mark Meadows etc.) are going to ask decent questions about the Ukraine activities and not create distractions by subpoena Lisa Paige or Hillary Clinton etc. Everyone knows the WH is going to delay, delay, delay and the Republican Congress members are going to distract, distract, distract. I say continue the impeachment inquiry and build the case while some witnesses are willing to disobey the Whitehouse and cooperate. If the Republican committee members want to participate, they can. If the WH wants to send people to testify or submit documents, they can. If not, they can wait until the results of the impeachment inquiry are disclosed to the public.
