This 80’s Superstar Turned 60 and She Just Posted the Most Age-Defying Selfie

Hoffs, who co-founded the band that brought us “Manic Monday,” “If She Knew What She Wants,” and, of course, “Walk Like an Egyptian,” fueled many 80’s girls’ fantasy fashion-hair-makeup dreams and, by the looks of her Instagram selfie this week, she’s still doing it, sharing an absolutely age-defying snap “in honor of a good hair day.”

What’s her secret? As she told theKELword.com back in 2012, she’s not too fond of what she sees as “fixation on youth” in the U.S. “I often talk with female friends my age about how it can feel like we have an expiration date embossed on our foreheads. A friend recently described the feeling as becoming invisible when we hit our 40s and 50s…To be honest, I’m sort of relieved to be past the point of turning 50. I am really enjoying this time in my life.”
