Season 2 of Riverdale begins next week, and in addition to making Jimmy Fallon fan boy on The Tonight Show, the cast just gave a series of very revealing interviews to Teen Vogue about their characters' fate . Here, the best new spoilers. Read all the interviews here.

1. Lili Reinhart (who plays Betty Cooper) isn’t even sure whether Bughead (the Betty and Jughead (played by Cole Sprouse) relationship) will make - especially after all they go through in the first few episodes of season 2. As she explains:

There’s definitely, it seems to be like, countless forces that want to pry them apart. Their relationship is being put to the test, totally. I’ve been able to see the challenges that have been thrown their way. And, it’s definitely hard. They’re young, they’re in love, and they’re trying to make it work. But, sometimes, the forces that be just don’t allow a love to survive. And sometimes love conquers the challenges, and they do end up together.

And, at this point, it could go either way. I don’t know. We’re not even halfway through the season. You never know what kind of twists and turns will be thrown our way and where our characters will end up going. But, for right now, I’m definitely rooting for Betty and Jughead to pull through. But, it’s all about as long as they’re happy together. They’re both going through such different things that if their relationship is only causing them stress in their lives, then it might be better to let it go. But, if they are kind of a beacon of light for one another and they give each other joy and happiness in this dark world, then I would say, hold on to that.

As for the news that Vanessa Morgan, who plays bisexual, maybe-rival-love-interest Toni Topaz, is getting death threats from fans because her character may break up Bughead, Reinhart reminds you that they are not their characters. "We are our own people with our own lives. We have our own relationships, and our own problems."

"So, you cannot keep sending that negative attitude and energy toward an actor. She's only playing a part... .It’s just completely uncalled for, and inappropriate, to have anyone actually sending death threats to a character that may or may not come between Betty and Jughead. There's a difference between the real world and television, and the line is being blurred a little bit."
