There’s nothing worse than your parents getting involved in your own drama, never mind drama for the entire world to see.

We know parents mean well and simply want to protect and defend their kids, but many of their comments only seem to be fueling the fire for already messy situations.

With that being said, here are several cringey examples of parents entering the chat to give their two cents on their kids' relationship scandal.

1. When Heidi D'Amelio responded to *that* video about Doah

Remember back in February 2021 when Bryce Hall blindfolded Noah Beck and had women dance suggestively around him, and then FaceTimed Dixie D'Amelio to show her? Well, Heidi D'Amelio sure does.

"I saw it and I thought it was trash," Heidi told paparazzo Kevin Wong. "That's a mom's opinion. Don't mess with my kids. It was hurtful and I didn't like it." She added that she felt the prank was disrespectful and that Dixie wasn't thrilled about it.

She ended her tirade with, "Bryce does what he does and then you keep moving. Whatever."

2. When Bryce Hall's mom allegedly shaded Addison Rae

Back in August 2020 — before Braddison got together a second time and then broke up again — a video resurfaced of Eliza Minor dancing on Bryce's lap. Addison later tweeted how "nothing [was] confusing." However, both Bryce and his mom, Lisa Hall, said they were confused.

Lisa's comment wasn't really shady, but another one of hers may have been. TikTokRoom shared a screenshot of Addison's Instagram that supposedly showed Addison deleted a pic of her and Bryce.

3. When Asher Angel's mom allegedly posted from her son's account a shady caption about Jules LeBlanc

Asher and Jules revealed they broke up in May 2020. Jules posted a nice message that included, "It’s no ones [sic] fault, especially not his. He treated me exactly the way a girl should be treated and deserves no hate."

However, Asher's Insta included a pic of himself with the caption, "You know you really love someone when you can’t hate them for breaking your heart 💔."

Jules then went live on Instagram and claimed Asher's mom, Coco Angel, posted that caption. She also said that post didn't help the already upsetting situation she and Asher were going through at the time.

4. When Jaden Hossler, Mads Lewis, and Nessa Barrett's parents got involved in the cheating scandal

In April 2021, we learned Jaden and Nessa are now dating, even though Nessa used to date Josh Richards, who was Jaden's best friend. Jaden's ex, Mads, brought the scandal to social media and everything went haywire.

Jaden's mom, Amy Denaé Hossler, commented with three of the raised hands emojis on Ariella M. Elm's TikTok that explained fans actually don't know the whole situation, and that Jaden and Nessa got together when they both were single.

Meanwhile, Mads's mom, Tiffany Lewis, allegedly also got involved. Fans noticed she liked this pro-Mads tweet on Twitter.

Nessa's dad, Drew Barrett, reportedly commented on Instagram about Nessa and Jaden's dating situation: "Let [them] hate, they [are] wasting their own energy on negativity that’s on them. We just keep it positive and focused on what matters over here [because] they don’t."

Later, Drew took it a step further and went live on Instagram. "Come on, they're teenagers, man. Let them live. Nobody is perfect," he said.

5. When Zoe LaVerne's mom defended her 19-year-old daughter kissing a 13-year-old fan

Zoe apologized for kissing and "catching feelings" for a fan in November 2020. Since the fan was a minor and Zoe was an adult, fans accused Zoe of "grooming" him. In fact, when Zoe revealed she was pregnant in February 2021, many people feared the fan was the father. (This is not true; Zoe maintains the father of her baby is her boyfriend, Dawson Day, who she started dating in November 2020.)

Interestingly, Zoe's mom, Debbie Pemberton, seemed unbothered by the situation. She went live and told fans that "anybody can reach over and kiss somebody."

6. When Heidi D'Amelio entered the chat about Charli D'Amelio and Chase Hudson's relationship

In April 2020, before all the insanity that stemmed from TikTokmaggedon on July 6, 2020 went down, there were rumors brewing that Chase cheated on his then-girlfriend, Charli. Heidi was NOT here for random people discussing her daughter's relationship. She posted her thoughts in a comment on Instagram.

Of course, we'd later learn Chase kissed Nessa Barrett when they were both single, but then went over to Charli's house and didn't tell her about the smooch.

7. When Danielle Cohn's mom presumably shared her thoughts on her daughter's controversial relationship with Mikey Tua

Danielle has been in an on-again/off-again relationship with Mikey for years, a relationship Mikey's mother, Katie Tua, has publicly disapproved of multiple times.

In February 2021, on the same day Katie wrote "STOP" on a photo of Mikey and Danielle hugging, Danielle's mother, Jennifer Archambault, made a post on her Instagram story that could've been in response to Katie's recent behavior about her son's relationship.
