7 People Who Could Possibly Be the Next Bachelorette
Big news for all you Bachelorette fans out there: On Monday, March 2, Good Morning America will reveal the star of the next season of the hit ABC reality series. That's right: In T-minus VERY SOON, we'll know who the next Bachelorette is, and can emotionally prepare ourselves for the upcoming season, airing later in 2020.
We don't know for certain who the next Bachelorette will be, but we have a couple of clues. The fact that GMA is revealing the new star on Monday—before Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor is over—suggests it won't be one of his two remaining girlfriends, Hannah Ann or Victoria F. (Or three remaining girlfriends? It's unclear what Madison's status is, after she bailed on their overnight Fantasy Suite date.) The Bachelorette typically stars a fan favorite from the previous season of The Bachelor, which means Kelsey Weier (of champagne meme fame) could potentially be a contender—but otherwise, the pickings seem slim from Weber's crop of ex-girlfriends.
So! Who else could it be? Because Ari's season of The Bachelor exists, we know that ABC sometimes chooses a blast from the past. And because Brad Womack's two seasons of The Bachelor exist, we know it's within the realm of possibility that the next Bachelorette could be someone who's starred on the show before. We also know ABC uses Bachelor in Paradise as a testing ground for casting future leads—see: Nick Viall—so the next Bachelorette could be someone who shone on the beaches of Mexico, too. With all that in mind, here are our picks for the next Bachelorette.
