As lockdowns are slowly lifted, lots of people are getting back to the gym and Red Table Talk’s Adrienne Banfield-Norris is one of them. The 67-year-old shared a video of her latest training session on Instagram, and whew—does she look strong!

“Back at it in Baltimore w @chizelitharris. I just feel better when I’m training,” she captioned the post. “Spiritual, mental, and physical fitness is always my goal! #cantstopwontstop💪🏾🏃🏾♀️🧘🏾♀️🏋🏽♀️🏊🏽♀️🙏🏾”

In the video, she practiced weighted lat pulls while standing and her trainer, Charles Harris, captured a 360 view of her incredible form—her back and shoulder muscles visibly defined, as well as her biceps.

“Everything’s working from the waist up,” Harris said. After completing 25 reps, Norris dropped the cords victoriously, and her followers couldn’t help but admire her hard work in the comments.

“You are such an inspiration. I started working out five days a week last year and I’ve kept up with it and I feel so much better mentally. Self-care is so important as women,” one person commented. “You look great Gammy! 💯” another added. “Yes! Your back and arms look great!” someone else wrote.

After her workout, Norris went home to make a green smoothie and was kind enough to share the ingredients. “I used up all my spinach last night, so I have kale, pineapple, a little bit of banana, and some protein powder and some water. No milk, just water,” she said.

Norris previously shared a recipe that she called a “huge fail” because she made it with almond milk. “I have spinach and apple and kale, a little bit of avocado, a little bit of banana, and a little bit of honey,” she said before adding the milk. “I’m not really a fave of any kind of milk.”

She’s clearly dedicated to health and fitness, even if it means she has to work around her limitations. Last week, she shared a video of another workout using resistance bands. “The challenge these days is to find [sic] exercises that will tone and strengthen w/o injuring my already compromised arthritic hips. Balance, tone, strength...I push on,” she wrote. “Thanks to all my trainers over the years. You all are the reason. Let’s go, even if it’s slow!!🤷🏽♀️”
