Loose Setting Powder in Translucent

Celebrity makeup artist Grace Ahn relied on Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Loose Setting Powder in the shade Translucent to keep Curtis shine-free from the start of the event through the after-party. The lightweight, oil-absorbing powder ensured her foundation, contour, and under-eye concealer stayed put without creasing, or casting a ghostly white flashback in photos.

Ahn previously told Prevention that Curtis has “perfect skin that she takes great care of”— and the 64-year-old’s makeup-free selfies are proof. To brighten and blur, Ahn began with a thin layer of Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Luminous Foundation in shade 260N.

Then, Ahn used the brand’s viral Magic Touch concealer in shade seven to color correct under the eyes and shade five to conceal, blending the product into Curtis’ foundation for a luminous second-skin finish. “Using very thin layers works really well for Jamie to really even out the skin while still looking like real skin.”

For Curtis’ glamorous smoky eye, Ahn used the brand’s Primrose eyeshadow palette, tapping ‘Sparkling Amber’ on the center of the lids for shine and smudging ‘Deep Berry’ into the lash line and outer corners for a sultry, sophisticated look. A flick of waterproof gel liner and two coats of volumizing mascara helped make her eyes pop.

A quick dusting of setting powder, a swipe of Anastasia Beverly Hill’s new Satin Lipstick, and a coat of sparkling lip gloss, and Curtis was ready to hit the carpet. Radiating confidence, the Oscar-winning actress captivated us the entire night with her inspiring acceptance speech and luminous, shine-free complexion.
