Melanie Griffith just broke the internet—and for a great cause! On Thursday, the 63-year-old actress and film producer shared a lingerie photo in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Griffith, who was previously diagnosed with skin cancer and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, rocked a pink demi bra and high-waist boy brief from Kit Undergarments in the photo. “@kitundergarments have partnered with @wcrfcure and will be donating a percentage of sales all of October. If you can repost they will donate another $1!!”

Griffith previously opened up about her own experience with cancer to Survivor Net. The actress was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at age 62, and had multiple surgeries since 2009 to remove basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer in the U.S., on her face.

“Your brain is not in an optimal state,” Griffith told Survivor Net of her reaction to her cancer diagnoses. “So what I say is, this is not something you asked for. This is not something that you did anything wrong to get. You can’t think clearly until you settle—ultimately coming back to a childlike sense of wonder and presence.”

After undergoing chemotherapy for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and being free of cancer for eight years, the actress learned she had a cancerous tumor in her small intestines. She once again underwent surgery and another round of chemotherapy.

To keep herself sane, she avoided reading information about her cancer. “Don’t let your mind get too ahead of yourself,” she said. “You have time to breathe and to listen … crying and moaning and screaming is a great release, and then, ultimately, it becomes your job to become your biggest advocate.”

In 2017, Griffith also learned that her skin cancer had reoccurred, resulting in another procedure to remove cancerous cells. The following year, the actress shared an Instagram update after her final surgery, and urged fans to get their skin checked.

“Bandaged again after having dermabrasion, the final step to fix the now removed basil cell skin cancer. If any of you have it, get it fixed,” she wrote in the caption. “If you lay in the sun, are exposed to lots of sun, be CAREFUL. Use sunscreen. Get checked out by your dermatologist. If you don’t have one, get one, or go to your nearest clinic and ask to be tested for it.”
