Although Allie Ayers got her start in modeling as a teenager, she made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2018 as a finalist in the brand’s opening casting call at the age of 24. She was photographed in Belize by photographer Yu Tsai.

Three years later, Ayers was featured in the SI Swimsuit Issue a second time as a Swim Search finalist. She worked with Tsai again, traveling to Atlantic City for her photo shoot.

In addition to her modeling career, the Oklahoma native is also an entrepreneur. Ayers is the founder of Bissy Swim, a made-to-order brand that prioritizes diversity and sustainability in the swimwear it offers. She also provides coaching courses, including career consultation and one-on-one services to help new and aspiring models with industry-related questions.

Ayers shared that being a finalist in the Swim Search encouraged her to “jump in head first” when it came to pursuing entrepreneurship with her swimwear line.

“I think this pushed me to do it faster, and it gave me the confidence to just go ahead and jump into it, but that’s something that I wanted to do anyway,” she said at the time. “Really the idea kind of started when I was doing computer coding retreats and living on beaches and working on beaches, so the idea started there.”

Below are six of our favorite photos of Ayers captured in Atlantic City.
