With the easing of lockdown restrictions in the UK, comes Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's first summer fashion moment: a lilac floral tea dress that's perfect for a sunny day of gardening. The Duchess visited The Nook Hospice in Norwich on Thursday June 25 to help with planting a garden in support of Children's Hospice Week. For her summer debut, the Duchess wore a lilac Marie-Louise floral midi dress designed by sustainable Australian brand Faithfull the Brand. It's the first time that Catherine has worn this brand for an official engagement, and we're pleased that it's youthful, sustainable, and affordable (for a royal), selling for $189. The empire-waist tea dress features on-trend puff sleeves, a V-neckline, and a demure keyhole opening, in the popular lilac Nefeli floral print. Kate paired her midi dress with Russell and Bromley Coco-nut Ankle Strap Espadrilles, Accessorize Twisted Circle Drop Earrings, and an adorable white rubber bracelet gifted from one of the children at the hospice, 6-year-old Sonny Pope-Saunders. Ahead, where to buy Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's complete summer gardening outfit. Related: Kate Middleton Wears the Perfect Summer Dress While Announcing a New Project

Goodbye boring flush-mounts.
When it’s hot — and we mean 100-plus-degrees hot — the last thing you want to do during the summer months is eat a heavy meal or get the meat sweats. And as for turning on the oven? Forget about it. Instead, we turn to crisp, fruity salads, light garden pastas with fresh veggies, seafood […]
But that didn't stop her from getting messy in the dirt.

There are many internet listicles that boast you can grow veggies in your apartment. Well, yes and no. Here's what you can realistically grow inside.
The Duchess of Cambridge helped to plant a garden at a children's hospice this week, and opened up about her son's sunflower plant.
Recently, I upgraded my loungewear collection with a number of matching sweats. Then, as much as I loved them, I hit a wall and felt like I needed to find some real pants. I think the sentiment I shared with coworkers was something like, "I have got to find some real pants." Maybe a curse word was in there somewhere, too. I headed over to Old Navy and scrolled through over 400 pairs of pants until I found a pair that looked like they had promise. The Mid-Rise Soft-Twill Utility Pants ($04, originally $40) were exactly what I was looking for - soft, cute, and perfect for Summer. As soon as they arrived, I ripped them out of the bag and slipped them on because I wanted to know how they stacked up. Here are the details! Any savvy online shopper will tell you that in our current state of quarantine, popular items aren't available for very long. Whether it’s a breathable face mask, a voluminous house dress, or a top-rated bike basket for hauling groceries, the most popular products fly off the (virtual) shelves fast — leaving us stuck with a sad-trombone “notify me” message for whenever they decide to restock. And, the current & Other Stories summer blowout is no exception to this unfortunate rule. The Swedish retailer has been slowly dropping more and more covetable duds in its up-to-60% off sale section — and we’ve been watching the good stuff sell out in record time. (Like, while we were writing this story.) With a long weekend on the horizon, stay-at-home shoppers have got their fingers on the pulse of the good scores — and the “add to cart” button. So we combed through the slashed-price pages and isolated our favorite summer selects, sussing out which styles still had a healthy size run and minimal “low stock” warnings. Click through to see the best of what was in stock at press time, but probably won't be for much longer. At Refinery29, we’re here to help you navigate this overwhelming world of stuff. Cilantro is among the most divisive of herbs. Most people either love it or hate it. If you love it, odds are you’ve brought a bunch home from the grocery store and stored it in your fridge, only to forget...
In case you haven't been paying attention to your calendar (no judgement, time is confusing right now), let us be the first to tell you: The Fourth of July is just four days away. Whether you expertly coordinated the holiday with your summer PTO and have kicked off your holiday weekend early, or you're still weighing your stay-at-home options, Independence Day means an extra blissful summer day off of work — and that in and of itself is worth celebrating. In the spirit, we're recommending a fresh red, white, and blue manicure. In part because it's festive, but mostly because the stars, nautical stripes, and glitter accents make for the cutest nail art you'll wear all summer. Beyond standard bright-red polish, we've scoured Instagram and compiled a guide to chic and unique Fourth of July nail looks to give you ample inspiration for this week's DIY mani.Like what you see? Like most beauty editors, we're passionate about sunscreen - and you should be, too. Very few skin-care products are as important, or personal, as sunblock. Everyone has their likes and dislikes when it comes to beauty, but nothing compares to the love you develop for a quality sun-protection product that fits your unique needs. The level of performance we expect from our sunscreen formula is unmatched. As we head into the peak sun months when most of us will either be outside, at the beach, or by the pool for long hours at a time, it's important that you have an SPF product that will keep you protected from the sun's harmful UV rays. The alternative is painful sunburns, premature signs of aging, and worst case scenario, skin cancer - all of which are completely avoidable with proper sun-protection measures. If you're someone who hasn't quite found their perfect sunscreen match, or have coined yourself "not a sunscreen person," we rounded up a list of our editors' most beloved sun-protection products that's 20 options deep. Whether you're looking for a body sunscreen that's easy to apply, a face sunscreen that wears well under makeup, or an option that's suitable for acne-prove skin, there's an editor-approved product out there for you. In other words, even the pickiest of beauty shoppers are sure to find a great sunscreen to try ahead.
This season's top-bought items all have one major thing in common: they're cool — and we don't mean that in a Jane-Fonda-starring-in-a-Gucci-campaign kind of way. Temperatures are reaching hot-hot heights and Refinery29 readers are carting up goods to keep them cool for the summer. After sifting through purchase data from popular shopping stories, we pulled out the most wanted buys for staying sweat-free during these sizzling times. Ahead, a master list of these favorite Fahrenheit-fighting finds (in the likely event you're also sitting in a perspiration puddle right now): from breathable sheets for the crispest of snoozes to antibacterial face masks with moisture-wicking properties, body-heat battling bike shorts, and a few ice-cold bottles of rosé. We even came across one premium Dyson fan on an under-the-radar sale, too. Sit back, scroll forth, and brace yourselves to handle the heat like a calm, cool, and collected pro.
