5.Orphan: First Kill
Everyone's favorite not-really-9-year-old is back and more bloodthirsty than ever. This film is a prequel, following events hinted at in the first film that led Esther to that fateful family. Also, Isabelle Fuhrman is iconic.

6.The Invitation
In a movie I can only describe to you as "very much my shit," we have The Invitation. Basically, a young woman is tricked into attending a "family wedding," only to discover there are very dark forces at play. From the trailer alone, I'd say the film has major Ready or Not meets Van Helsing vibes.

7.Three Thousand Years of Longing
Based on short story The Djinn in the Nightingale's Eye by A. S. Byatt, the story follows a doctor who uncovers a djinn who offers to grant her three wishes in exchange for his freedom. Also, hey, it's Idris Elba again!

8.Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.
Starring two of my absolute faves in a duo straight out of my dreams — Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown — this satirical mockumentary follows the aftermath of a scandal that rocked a megachurch. It already looks great, but if you need an extra reason to check it out: It was executive produced by Jordan Peele and Daniel Kaluuya!

9.After Ever Happy
A film with a title that makes me feel a little bit like I'm having a stroke every time I read it, After Ever Happy is the third installment in the love story (?) of Hardin and Tessa as the two continue on in their rocky relationship.

Loosely based on Alfred Hitchcock's classic Strangers on a Train (no, really!), Do Revenge sees two girls seek to enact revenge on each other's nemeses to avoid drawing any suspicion to themselves. It's a perfect plan until, of course, it's not.

21.Blonde
Adapted from the novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates, Blonde follows a fictionalized version of the life of Hollywood mega-star Marylin Monroe and her nightmarish private life off screen. This film is also the first NC-17-rated film to be released via a streaming service, so buckle up for that.

A film with a press tour so chaotic, it's almost hard to remember there's an actual movie attached to it, this thriller appears to be equal parts The Stepford Wives and The Truman Show with promised twists aplenty.

While he was killed thousands of years before our time, he's awoken in modern day by an unfortunate group of explorers who accidentally unleash his chaos onto the world.
