5-Year-Old With Cancer ‘Marries’ Her Best Friend

Eileidh Paterson has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that has no known cure. The 5-year-old crossed off the No. 1 priority on her bucket list this past weekend: “marrying” her best friend. Eileidh and Harrison Grier, 6, were officially declared “best friends forever” in a room full of costumed superheroes and princesses. Hundreds of well-wishers came together to help make this Disney-themed dream “wedding” an unforgettable event. Eileidh’s mother, Gail Paterson, created the Eileidh’s Journey Facebook page, where she hopes to raise awareness of the symptoms of the illness. Donations can be made towards Eileidh’s bucket list at Go Fund Me.
