Netflix Originals—the TV shows, movies, and documentaries you can only watch on the streaming service—are some of the most entertaining things around. These are the most binge-worthy ones we’re excited to watch in the next few months.
Netflix Originals have slowly but surely become some of the best (and most binge-worthy) TV shows, movies, and documentaries available, and much of the streaming service’s original content earns cult followings and critical acclaim—take Stranger Things, Orange Is the New Black, and Mudbound, for examples.
Between binge-watching Breaking Bad and Grey’s Anatomy (some of viewers’ first picks for Netflix binging!) in the coming months, try out these new Netflix Originals worth watching. You may love them, you may hate them, but they’ll probably be different from anything else you see on TV or the big screen in the most entertaining ways.
Figuring out what to watch for your next Netflix binge may be a bigger challenge than expected, though. Who hasn’t spent half the available screen time discussing (or arguing) what to watch, when faced with so many choices? Pro tip: Instead of spending half the run-time of a movie picking something to watch, set a timer for an acceptable amount of debate time. When the timer goes off, commit to whatever movie or show has the most support and press play. Your time is much better spent watching one of these binge-worthy Netflix Originals than talking them all over.
Lost meets Survivor in this suspenseful series, which follows 10 people as they wake up—without memories of who or where they are—on a remote island. They struggle to escape and survive together while a mysterious group watches them from afar; expect interpersonal drama and action-packed explosions alike in this genre-crossing show.

A film about, predictably, a tall girl (the tallest girl in school, in fact), this September Netflix Original follows a high schooler as she finds a crush taller than her. In her quest to win him over, she muddles through a love triangle, best friendships, tension with a beauty queen sister, and more. Watch this coming-of-age tale with school-age kids, friends, or on your own when you need a reminder of how wonderful finding confidence can be.
New from Ryan Murphy (the mind behind Glee, American Horror Story, and more beloved series), this binge-worthy show follows a young, wealthy student dead-set on becoming President of the United States—if he can just get through high school first. Starring Ben Platt as the titular politician, the show includes favorites such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Lange and is sure to be as hilarious as it is clever.

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You
All right, this one isn’t coming soon, exactly, but everyone deserves to join in on the excitement surrounding this Netflix Original. The sequel to last year’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, this movie follows Lara Jean and Peter as they figure out high school, their actually-real-now relationship, and old flames—hopefully with the same playfulness and humor as the first movie.
