  • Gabrielle Union, 47, just shared a glimpse of her full-body workout to Instagram.

  • The actress has teamed up with the FitOn app to create free workouts.

  • Union swears by a mix of cardio and strength training to stay fit.

At 47, Gabrielle Union looks fitter than ever—and she definitely puts in the work.

Union, who partnered with fitness app FitOn earlier this year, opened up in the caption about the new, free workouts she created for the app. “I can’t promise it won’t make you curse in exhaustion, but I can promise it’ll be worth it... and I’ll do my best to entertain you along the way,” she wrote in Instagram post.

In the video, Union gave a glimpse of one of her full-body workouts—and she was drenched in sweat by the end of it. She starts with squats “to build the booty” and continues with single-arm dumbbell snatches. Tricep curls were up next. “I feel like my bones are rattling,” she joked.

Then, Union picked up her weights and finished the set with dumbbell punches to sculpt her shoulders, triceps, and lats. (No wonder her arms look so sculpted.)

The actress previously opened up to Women’s Health about her fitness routine, and she swears by cardio and strength training. “I like to mix it up so I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill,” she explained. “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes.”

“The beauty of my workouts are that they change every session and day. It really depends on my mood, what my scenes are like action-wise,” she added. “Basically I try to stay as flexible as possible I don’t get too bogged down.”

Although staying fit is a fabulous perk to working out, Union shared that it’s also a great release of energy for her. “I get to work out my aggression, my fears, my anxiety before I get to work or before my daughter wakes up,” she said. “It brings me a level of peace that I wouldn’t otherwise have. I know when I don’t get my workout in, I notice it the most in my mood. I tend to have a lot more patience after I’ve worked out.”
