Would you turn down shopping advice from a bona fide expert? Didn't think so. Net-a-Porter's global buying director, Elizabeth von der Goltz, was kind enough to share her top four spring shoe trends for 2019, so you better believe we were all ears. So what made her list? Barely there sandals, sporty sandals, retro sneakers, and platforms are all on there, and we did the legwork for you to find the best versions of each trend.
"Unquestionably elegant, the naked sandal makes a comeback this season from brands such as The Row, By Far, and Prada to become the most elevated summer workwear option," von der Goltz said in a statement. "For fun after-hours, turn to towering platforms from the likes of Saint Laurent and Miu Miu. The retro sneaker continues its stylish stride this season, championed by designers like Fendi, Saint Laurent, and Vetements. The most sought-after summer staple, the sporty sandal continues as the perfect seasonal alternative to the bulky sneaker.” Scroll down to shop the trends she mentions.
