vint s: Deirdre Shesgreen and Kim Hjelmgaard have written an article that supports the idea that many changes need to be made to keep us from ever finding ourselves in this position again.... we must self-reliant when it comes to medications, medical supplies, manufacturing in general.... our surplus of fossil fuels must alway be near capacity, but we also need to abandon the global village idea except at an arms length...we can be of assistance but not relying on others...because of the learnings of the 'shelter in place' and those quarantined able to carry on with their business, people will be moving within our borders as they abandon the city life for a more rural, controllable, environment for themselves and their families....open borders will be a fading conversation as many embrace the dangers that could be realized by not securing our borders....and rainy day savings, monetary and supplies, will be back in fashion and the idea of living from paycheck to paycheck will be viewed as shallow thinking.... less reliance on wants and more focus on needs....many changes coming....most all for the good....
