California has been hit by a major rain storm over the past week, causing significant flooding all over the state. Here are 25 images showing just how wild all that flooding has been:

22.Here, a tree branch fell on top of a San Francisco city bus due to the high winds. Tree damage is common during floods like this, as the water loosens the soil and causes trees to uproot:

23.Beaches along the coast — like this one in Aptos — are covered with debris (and sometimes litter) that has been washed to the ocean through the storm drain system and then deposited back onto the beach:

24.Many Californians don't have the usual supplies you need to deal with this level of rain. After all, you normally don't need a raincoat and galoshes in a state that's been dealing with record-setting drought:
