Though Kohl's isn't expected to kick off its Black Friday sale until late November, they’re giving shoppers a peek behind the curtain and letting you shop some of their deals early during their pre-Black Friday sale. But first, let’s go over some of the nitty-gritty details to help you streamline your shopping experience.

What is Kohl's Black Friday sale in 2022?

Kohl's is known for offering reduced prices on amazing clothing, shoes, electronics and other essentials, and you can expect even more of the same during the retailer's Black Friday 2022 sale.

Is Kohl's open on Thanksgiving?

All physical Kohl’s locations will be closed on Thanksgiving, but all of their Black Friday deals will be available online, so you can shop without leaving the comfort of your couch (or changing out of your PJ’s). Shoppers can get free shipping with a $75 purchase, or you can avoid shipping fees by opting for in-store or curbside pick-up.

Can you use Kohl's Cash on Black Friday?

Though you can use it during their pre-Black Friday sale, you can’t use your Kohl’s cash during the main event. However, you sure can earn it, meaning those gifts you’re buying will keep on giving in the future. Throughout the year, you can earn $10 for every $50 you spend at the retailer, but they often do a special promotion for their big sales events—for example, last year, customers earned $15 for every $50 spent during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

The Kohl’s return policy is certainly one of the more lenient ones out there, with customers being able to return most items up to 180 days past their purchase date with or without a receipt. Just know that online purchases can be returned via mail or a physical store, in-store purchases can only be returned in-store. However, this policy doesn’t apply to watches or premium electronic devices. Those items will need to be returned in their original packaging with a valid receipt or Kohl’s account, and you only have 30 days from the date of purchase to return them. Furthermore, beauty products will only be accepted in new or in gently used conditions and must be returned within 60 days past the purchase date. Though Kohl’s doesn’t offer any warranties on your purchases, some items come with their own from the manufacturer, which will be disclosed under the product information section.
