Kim and Kanye threaten ex-bodyguard with lawsuit following ‘defamatory’ interview

Don’t mess with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West unless you’re ready to face the consequences.

Recently, this is something that Steve Stanulis, Kanye’s former bodyguard, had to learn the hard way. According to TMZ, the power couple has sent a cease and desist letter to Stanulis in light of some alleged “false and defamatory” statements he made on the Hollywood Raw podcast.

Speaking with hosts Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, Stanulis alleged that Kanye “wanted [him] to stay 10 paces behind him on a city street” at all times. He also claimed that Kim and Kanye alert the paparazzi every time they leave the house.

“There’s no way every time they are leaving, all these people know about it,” he said on the podcast. “There’s definitely somebody calling ahead. That’s just my opinion.”

According to Kim and Kanye, Stanulis’ interview violates a confidentiality agreement he signed in 2016. Because of this, they’re threatening to sue the former bodyguard for up to $10 million if he opens his mouth again.

Oh, and apparently this isn’t the first time Kim and Kanye have had to threaten legal action against Stanulis. In May 2016, the bodyguard claimed he was fired for talking to Kim while on the job and making Kanye jealous. When legal action was threatened the first time, they also demanded a public apology.
