Kylie Jenner’s ‘genius’ breakfast recipe sets social media ablaze: ‘Everyone’s obsessed’

Kylie Jenner might be a billionaire, but she still seems to have a taste for the simple things in life.

One of those sweet, relatable pleasures: A delicious homemade breakfast.

Jenner seems to be able to whip up a morning meal with the best of them, according to countless social media users who are praising the 22-year-old’s “genius” French toast recipe.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder shared her take on the sugary treat during a series of Instagram Stories posts on May 18, sparking a wave of at-home copycats.

There appears to be one key ingredient that sets Jenner’s French toast apart from a standard recipe: Frosted Flakes. The cosmetics mogul’s post made it sound like her cereal-crusted treat might be famous in the Kardashian/Jenner household.

“Khloé inspired me to make my flakey French toast,” Jenner wrote, sharing a photo of her other ingredients, which included brioche bread, an egg mixture, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar, the last of which she added generously while writing “a little brown sugar never hurt nobody.”

The posts revealing the recipe have since expired on Instagram, but not before fans managed to save the recipe. Several shared their praise for the dish on Twitter, jokingly lauding it as one of the mogul’s greatest accomplishments.

“Everyone’s obsessed with @KylieJenner‘s makeup/skincare, meanwhile im obsessed with her french toast,” one user wrote.

“It’s easy to forget Kylie Jenner is also a low-key chef,” another added.

Others tried the recipe themselves, with many social media chefs testing out different cereals, different mixtures and different toppings to make their own versions.
