Laneige remains one of the most sought after brands in skincare. Making the crossover from Korean beauty staple to globally renowned, the skincare company has launched a few products that have quickly become cult favorites among the masses.

One of its most raved-about items, however, is widely celebrated for its two-in-one formula that allows users to spend less time prepping their skin, and with over 24,000 loves on Sephora, it's clearly a fan favorite.

The Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer does pretty much exactly as its name suggests: it tones and moisturizes the skin in one single step.

As recommended by dermatologists, estheticians and skincare experts, one's routine should go in the following order: cleanse, tone, treat (optional) and moisturize — of course, sunscreen would be applied last if this is being done in the daytime.

For those who choose to bypass the treatment step, this product can consolidate their skincare routine into just two steps: cleansing and toning/moisturizing.

According to its product description, the wide-ranged pick "preps and softens like a toner and moisturizes like a cream for maximum hydration benefits in one simple step." Its milky texture allows for it to be easily applied with the palms of the hands and, as an avid user of this pick for the past two months, I can confidently say that a little goes a long way.

This toner/moisturizer hybrid's formulation is described as a "lightweight liquid" and is suitable for all skin types and concerns, including dryness, dullness and uneven texture.

It's also made free of parabens, phthalates and mineral oil. Those with sensitive skin would particularly appreciate that it also contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances.

The main ingredient found in this product is white leaf tea extract which is rich in amino acids that are said to strengthen the skin barrier, moisturize and soothe the skin.

Boasting more than 650 five-star reviews on Sephora, the Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer is a win among customers, with one shopper expressing disbelief in its performance.

"Like how does it do it??" the shopper wrote. "Magic is really the only word I have for this! This calms my skin instantly (eczema prone & dry) and feels deeply hydrating. I did not need to apply moisturizer after this, it truly is a one step product."

Another shopper attested to this product's ease of use, writing, "I use it daily! It's so much easier than having all these steps."

Shoppers have noted, however, that the product can make the face appear oily throughout the day, but this only occurs when too much of the product is layered. So, remember that less is more with this gem.
