Although many of my friends are stocking up on pajama sets, chic cozy wear and the comfiest of slippers, I only have one thing on the brain.
What am I going to wear to brunch when we finally get outside?
With all the sales happening right now, I’ve been scouring the Internet to find deals of a lifetime, the deals that make you do a double-take because they’re just that darn good. Of course, there’s always something worth my money in the style and beauty sections of Nordstrom, but honey, let me tell you how Nordstrom Rack was hiding out all of these gems!
Online, already-discounted dresses are an additional 30 percent off, marking many of these classy styles to well below $30. Even though I may have the money to spend on an expensive splurge here or there, why would I want to do that if I can find trendy dresses at such a reduced price point?
One of the best things about this ongoing sale, in my opinion, is access to plus-size options. I’ll be real with y’all: Many retailers have work to do when it comes to representing and showcasing plus-size bodies, but thankfully, there are some retailers that have stepped up to the plate and are working to at least have the conversation.
I found many dress options ranging from the XS-3Xs, and although we could definitely push for more sizing from some of these brands, we have to acknowledge the progress being made in showcasing plus dresses that don’t 1) make you feel like a moo-moo, and 2) can make you feel good, sexy and confident.
Below, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite dresses to shop from the sale, which doesn’t have a defined end date (although it says for a limited time only) — however, I wouldn’t wait long. Many styles are already going out of stock as more people learn about this sale, and I can’t guarantee your favorite dress will still be there if you decide to sleep on it.
