How to bring home a new furry friend without ever visiting a shelter

If spending more time at home has you itching to adopt a pet, you’re not alone.

Thankfully, Pedigree is here to help. The dog food company is holding online adoption sessions so you can meet your potential new pup virtually.

The company explained how the process works in a video shared to YouTube.

Interested parties can video chat with adoptable animals via Zoom and, if it’s a match, take their furry new friends home through curbside pickup.

The new process eliminates all unnecessary human contact, which is great news under social distancing guidelines, but also a huge relief for people who get along with dogs better than their fellow humans.

You can check to see if your local shelter is offering this program on Pedigree’s website.
