This 328-foot-tall swing is on the edge of a 2,300-foot cliff

Workers tested a giant, new swing on the edge of a 2,300-foot cliff. Located at the Yunyang Longgang Scenic Spot in China, the swing suspends from a 328-feet-all archway. With plans to submit it to the Guinness World Records, the extreme swing certainly is destined to become an attraction.
Employees first demoed the ride with crash test dummies because nobody was brave enough to try it in the beginning, according to the Daily Mail. But that has recently changed.
Footage shows a worker swinging through the rainbow covered arch from the 354-foot red launch tower. He glides across the scenic spot’s property and over the edge of the cliff. The only thing audible in the video is his horrified screams and the person filming’s laugh.
Visitors can swing three people at a time and are strapped in with a harness. As they lay side-by-side, two cables lift them to the peak of the launch tower. Once released from an altitude of 3,608 feet, riders swing at a maximum angle of 90 degrees above the ground or 230 feet from the cliff’s edge — flung at a speed of 80 miles per hour.
The massive project underwent four months of security checks. It’s even able to withstand a magnitude 10 earthquake and winds with a gust of up to 103 miles per hour. While the grand opening of the scenic spot’s swing is delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, some will want to add this to their bucket lists tentatively!
