Our mouths about dropped to the floor when we learned that you can turn your Instant Pot into an air fryer with only a switch of the lid! But actually, the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid can do even more — it can also broil, reheat, dehydrate, roast and bake. And while this little miracle worker normally retails for $140, it’s currently 40 percent off on Amazon, making it just $79.95.

The Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid works with most 6-quart Instant Pot models that have a stainless steel inner pot, turning the pressure cooker into a 6-in-1 air fryer. It’s easy to use and comes with its own one-touch presets for each cooking method, as well as a frying basket, basket case, dehydrator pan and a base for the lid.

According to the product description, its “innovative EvenCrisp Technology ensures crispy crunch and golden finish” on all of your fried foods. Try making fish ‘n chips, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and more savory snacks, or go the dessert route and fry your own Oreos.

The special lid made its debut towards the end of 2019 and already ranks on Amazon as a No. 1 new release among air fryers, with over 260 ratings and 4.9 out of 5 stars.

“I just got this in the mail today and decided to give it a go. I air fried some frozen french fries at 400° for 20 minutes. Halfway through the cooking cycle it beeped to remind me to toss my food. The fries came out perfectly cooked,” wrote one excited Amazon reviewer. “Well worth the expense so far.”

“Since the product is so new, it doesn’t seem that there are many Instant Pot air fryer lids specific recipes, but after having done some research and having tried it out on Brussels sprouts and chicken nuggets, it seems that you can just use any recipe fitted for an air fryer. There is really no learning curve like there was with using the instant pot for the first time. Essentially you just put the lid on top of your instant pot base, set the temperature, and go. The Brussels sprouts came out perfectly crispy an amazingly delicious. The chicken nuggets I made for my daughter we’re done so fast, much faster than heating up my oven, and they too were crispy as if they had been fried. Great attachment for an already great kitchen appliance,” wrote another reviewer.

Are you freaking out? We’re freaking out! It’s like getting a whole new appliance that’s half the size of a standard Instant Pot.

If you don’t already have an Instant Pot, you can also get the lid with the Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer combo, which has 11 functions, operating like a regular Instant Pot and coming with another version of the air fryer lid. You can get it at Macy’s — also on sale — for $179.99 (originally $224.99).
