A 20-Year-Old Just Won $450 Million In The Lottery
A 20-year-old in Florida just won $450 million jackpot. Hoo boy!
According to the Florida Lottery, Shane Missler, of Port Richey, Florida, won the January 5 Mega Millions $450 million jackpot, taking home a one-time lump sum of $281,874,999.
The winning numbers of 28, 30, 39, 59, and 70, as well as the Mega Ball number, 10, to become the sole winner.
When asked what he plans to do with the money, Missler said, "I'm only 20, but I hope to use it to pursue a variety of passions, help my family and do some good for humanity." A believer in the power of a positive mindset, Shane wasn't really surprised that he had won. He said he just had "a feeling" that he might. After realizing he had won, the first call he made was to his brother. Then, he shared the news with his father over coffee the next morning.
