19 "Bad" Movies That Are Actually Kinda Amazing, And That's That On That
We asked the BuzzFeed Community which "bad" movies they actually love. Here's what they said:
1.Eternals (2021)
“I wouldn’t consider Eternals the best MCU movie, but I definitely don’t think it was as bad as critics said. Sure, it had some problems, but I truly loved the characters and this dysfunctional family so much. I bet this is an MCU movie people will look back on in a few years and realize how incredible it was and how much it set up for future movies.”

Where you can watch it: Currently in movie theaters!!
2.Hocus Pocus (1993)
3.The First Wives Club (1996)
4.Green Lantern (2011)
5.A Sound of Thunder (2005)
"I love A Sound of Thunder. It only got a 6% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but I enjoyed watching it. It's about a time-traveling company, and how the accidental death of one little butterfly has huge evolutionary and devastating consequences. The special effects are bad, and there are plot holes, yet it's very entertaining if you don't expect high quality and don't take it too seriously."

10.Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000)
"It’s really funny and entertaining. Yes, some of it is unrealistic but it’s definitely more realistic than almost all the Fast and Furious movies. And it has a bunch of successful actors in it that were just getting their start at the time. Plus, lots of beautiful classic cars."
Current score on Rotten Tomatoes: 25% out of 100%
Where you can watch it: Fubo or available to rent on Apple TV
11.Just Go With It (2011)

Where you can watch it: Available to rent on Amazon Prime or free with a Hulu and Live TV subscription
12.Passengers (2016)

13.Practical Magic (1998)
"It is superior and it has everything you could want — amazing '90s fashion and hair, witchcraft, the beautiful Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock (complete with midnight margarita dance scene) and set in my dream house. It only has 22%, I think, but it is a cult classic and should be rectified."

Where you can watch it: HBO Max
14.Daylight (1996)
15.Elektra (2005)
"Elektra is a great movie and you cannot change my friggin' mind! It did a really good job with what it had to work with, and it doesn’t hurt that Jennifer Garner was a perfect casting choice."
Current score on Rotten Tomatoes: 11% out of 100%
Where you can watch it: Hulu
16.Drive Angry (2011)
"A true masterpiece of a Nic Cage film. I watched it a whim and nearly broke a rib laughing my ass off. It is a wild, cocaine-fueled, adrenaline-packed, whiplashing, ridiculous, and thrilling ride of a film — not a million miles away from Crank and genuinely one of my go-to feel-good movies. Not only is it up there with the most batshit of action films but the plot is surprisingly intriguing and it has some great characters, alas Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb say otherwise it's a 48% and no one EVER talks about it. To me, it's a true gem of a 'bad movie.' Just sit down, shut up and you WILL be entertained."
Current score on Rotten Tomatoes: 48% out of 100%
Where you can watch it: Fubo or available to rent on Apple TV
17.Annie (2014)
18.Suicide Squad (2016)
"I know I'm going to get some hate for this, but the first Suicide Squad was silly campy fun. I think the Marvel movies really upped the game, making anything other than Marvel movies seem silly, and that's both good AND bad because now, we can't have a mindless fun blowup fest without someone calling out the film for 'lack of plot.' Sometimes I want to cry during a movie, but other times, I just want to zone out and watch a super-hot dude with powers or amazing abilities mess shit up, no rhyme or reason!"
