We've known them since birth, Kate Middleton and Prince William's children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and little Prince Louis. But all of a sudden, it seems that the Cambridge clan has grown up in the blink of an eye – and it's got us feeling all kinds of nostalgic!

With Prince George now eight years old, Princess Charlotte having turned seven and Prince Louis now four (yes, four!) there's plenty of happy memories to look back on when it comes to the Cambridge children. Whether it's Charlotte getting cheeky and sticking her tongue out, or Prince Louis waving to crowds whilst up on the famed Palace balcony, or Prince George sweetly bonding with his papa, there are so many gorgeous photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton's children for royal fans to enjoy.

So, with that in mind, we've done the honours of rounding up the best, sweetest, funniest (and let's be honest, cheekiest!) pictures of the Cambridge kids:

1) Prince George's first photo on the Lindo Wing steps (23 July 2013)

Proud new parents, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, present their first child - a new baby boy - to the world's media outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London. George Alexander Louis made his entrance on a Monday afternoon weighing 8lbs 6oz.

3) Prince George smooths his mama's hair down in New Zealand (9 April 2014)

During a visit to a parents group while on a royal tour, Prince George became a tad distracted and started playing with the Duchess' hair - anyone else sensing a future career as a hairdresser?!

4) Prince George learns to crawl (15 June 2014)

The Duchess of Cambridge took Prince George to watch his father and uncle, Prince Harry, partake in a charity polo match... and the little one looks as though he's about to shoot off and get stuck in to the match himself!

5) A cheeky Prince delights at the crowd at Trooping the Colour (13 June 2015)

Propped up by his nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, the youngster gleefully watched the Trooping the Colour display to mark his great-grandmother's, Queen Elizabeth, birthday – and couldn't resist given the crowd a cheeky tongue waggle.

A new royal baby has entered the chat! Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is presented to the world by her loving parents (and Prince George is no longer an only child).

Curious by name and nature, the young Prince peers over the side of his younger sister Charlotte's pram on the day of her christening. Adorable, no?

The Cambridge gang take a royal tour of Canada, and little Charlotte can be seen smiling and waving throughout. George looked a bit more dubious with the crowds, but luckily his dad, William, was on hand to offer support.

For a lot of people, Christmas is a time for sweets - and that rule applies to young members of the royal family too! Princess Charlotte was spotted attending church with her family, candy cane in hand, back in 2016. And doesn't she look chuffed about it?

10) The Cambridges tour Germany (19 July 2017)

The family were pictured at Berlin Tegel Airport during an official visit to Poland and Germany – and Princess Charlotte was gifted a bunch of flowers by well wishers.

Poor wee Charlotte took a tumble as the Cambridges crossed Hamburg airport together. Luckily mum Kate was on hand to swoop her up again (something she made look totally effortless despite being in heels, which is basically a sport in itself if you ask us).

12) A day of family fun at the polo (10 June 2018)

It was a right family affair at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy in Gloucester, where Charlotte decided to entertain the crowd by showing off her headstand abilities! Unfortunately big brother George looks less than impressed...

13) Bridesmaid and page boy duties for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank (12 October 2018)

It was the second big royal wedding of 2018 – Princess Eugenie's 'I dos' to Jack Brooksbank, which came a few months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials were viewed by over a billion people around the globe. The Cambridge kids played a role in both. We're pretty envious of George's velvet trousers here.

14) Prince Louis is presented to the world (23 April 2018)

Looking the absolute spit of Prince William/Prince George, Louis Arthur Charles is given the royal tradition of a photoshoot on the Lindo Wings steps shortly after his delivery.

15) The three siblings are spotted together (8 June 2019)

The Cambridges all appear on the balcony during Trooping the Colour, the Queen's annual birthday parade. It seems that Louis is following in Charlotte's footsteps and loves waving at the crowd, while George is more on the fence about the whole thing.

16) Princess Charlotte gets sassy - with a capital 'S'! (9 August 2019)

After the Duchess of Cambridge pointed something out to Charlotte (possibly a gaggle of photographers) at a boating event, the young Princess didn't hesitate in whipping out the sass and sticking her tongue out in their direction. Genius! Luckily Kate appeared to find the whole thing pretty funny.

17) The Cambridges attend a pantomime (11 December 2020)

The Cambridges had a rare public night out as a family when they went to watch a special performance of The National Lottery’s Pantoland pantomime at The Palladium, which was held in order to thank key workers and their families for everything they've done during the coronavirus pandemic – and plenty of people pointed out how much Louis looks like the Duchess of Cambridge's father, Michael Middleton. Do you see it?

18) George and Charlotte attend Philip's memorial service (29 March 2022)

While attending a memorial service for Prince Philip, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were spotted accompanying their parents into Westminster Abbey. It certainly looks as though George has had a growth spurt!

19) Prince Louis steals the show at the Trooping the Colour event (2 June 2022)

To mark the Queen's birthday, the royal's gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the Trooping the Colour event. Clearly (LOL), Prince Louis was not a fan of the rather noisy military planes and as a result, made some iconic faces. Who doesn't love a cheeky Cambridge moment?

20) George and Charlotte attend the Platinum Jubilee concert (4 June 2022)

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend the Platinum Jubilee party at the Buckingham Palace open air concert alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The two children had the sweetest reaction to seeing their grandma, the Queen, interacting with Paddington Bear and pulling marmalade sandwiches out from her bag.
