."I went to high school with Yung Gravy. He was always a super-chill and nice guy, and although he seemed kinda spacey, he was quite smart. I used to think it was a bit odd that he never dated anyone in high school, given his popularity."
."I went to high school with Cameron Diaz and Snoop Dogg. Cameron was in my grade. She was funny, nice, and very outgoing. Snoop was one year older and ran in different circles. Nice guy, though, very chill."
."My art professor in college went to high school and graduated with Chadwick Boseman. He said that Chadwick was one of the coolest guys in the class and was nice to everyone."
."My parents went to school with Bryan Cranston. My mom was friends with him, and they kept in touch for quite a while."
."I went to grade school with Lil Uzi Vert. I didn’t know them too well, as they were in the grade below me, but they definitely had a reputation for getting into trouble at school."
."I know some guys who went to Berklee College of Music with John Mayer. They said he stole people's ideas for songs and was a complete douche."
."My sister went to middle school with and was in the same grade as Beyoncé. She said Bey was 'forgettable.'"
."My husband went to school with Emilia Clarke, aka Daenerys from Game of Thrones. She was apparently very sweet and genuine. She was in the 'cool' group, and hubby was definitely NOT, but she was still super nice to him."
."I went to high school with Luke Perry in California. He was a James Dean–type rebel. He dated a pretty blonde girl who was super popular. He gave me a ride home from school in his convertible once. He was a pretty cool guy."
."A friend of mine went to Yale with Lupita Nyong'o and said she was always really sweet and very grounded. It was so clear that she was going places in acting, and she had already gotten some roles."
."I went to middle school through college with Matthew McConaughey. He wasn't the smartest kid, but he was nice and friendly. He's on the shorter side, and he got some good-natured teasing for his T. rex arms and how he always walked with his butt stuck out. He was friendly. He did all the 'playing football and having a cheerleader girlfriend' things. But by college, he'd fully developed his bullshit artist skills."
."An acquaintance of mine went to college with Bradley Cooper at Georgetown University. They actually shared a drama class together, and he recalled Bradley being a bit reserved but very nice when it came to working with other students."
."I went to middle and high school with Melissa Benoist. She was always kind and kind of quiet. I would say we were friends for a few years — we were lab partners in science and had to take swimming together. Sometimes groups of students would go see her in local theater productions, and it was like seeing another person. A usually quiet person was suddenly brassy! Or singing an amazing ballad! I’m really proud of her."
."I knew Samba Schutte (Hakim on Sunnyside and Roach on Our Flag Means Death) in college and was even in a movie he made for class. He was nice and pretty laid-back. Also, he was super funny, but not in a class clown kind of way."
."Dad went to high school with Jeff Bezos. IIRC, he said he was kind of a nerd, then at their high school reunion, everyone was all over him."
."My mom went to high school with LL Cool J, and my aunt went to the same school with 50 Cent before he dropped out. My mom said LL was very popular, especially with the ladies, but not her type. My aunt told me she only saw 50 one time in a fight with the school's security, which isn't surprising to me."
."One of my good friends from college grew up in Homer, Alaska, and went to high school with Jewel. He said that despite her sweet, sensitive public persona, in high school she was snobby and arrogant."
.And finally: "I went to high school with Giuliana Rancic. She was a very popular and outgoing cheerleader, and I was a pretty forgettable choir geek. She was always kind and never made me feel like a nerd."
