If it were socially acceptable to head out of our house during fall and winter with our cozy duvets, we would. Trust us. However, since it's not and Karen doesn't respect the drip, we've come to form a strong (and stylish) bond with our coats. They're the hug you didn't know you needed each morning before you face the chilling under 50-degree winds.
That being said, since fall is in the air, and winter is lurking around the corner, we're in the market to buy a brand-new coat. Of course, we have a few fall coat trends on our radars, but we also have (hypothetical) room for some classic fall coats, too.
Luckily, though our geography might differ, the trends do not. From quilted coats that are as close as we'll get to making our duvets fashion to statement coats that will turn our fall frowns upside down, we're crushing on a handful of styles. However, the following fall coats are the ones we're truly coveting. And the best part? There's a fall coat to suit every personality (and budget).
Feathers, color, and prints galore! This fall, this unlikely trend will be taking over our hearts and our closets. The days might get gloomier but our outfits will remain full of life and joy thanks to these statement coats.

Fall is also all about comfort. So it comes to no surprise that we're gravitating towards quilted coats and puffers. I mean, they're basically the next best thing to wrapping yourself up in a cozy duvet. Sign us up!
Trench coats are a true fall classic. This time around though, we're all about trench coats with fun twists. From patent trenches to printed ones, we're here for all of them (even though our closet space says otherwise).

Plaid? Check. Herringbone? Check. Checks? Well, check. These prints are a street style hit every fall. They're the statement coats shy and quiet cousin that you still love and adore just as much.
The 70's are finally getting their moment in the spotlight. And just like Harry Styles, we're incorporating this fall coat trend into our daily fits. Because this outerwear piece will look great whether you wear it with jeans and a t-shirt or a slip dress and tights.
