There are a lot of gimmicks when it comes to hair health, but here we break down the most fool-proof ways to keep your hair looking its best.
For some, adding a workout to their daily routine is a piece of cake. But, if you’re like me (curly hair and all), it’s a battle to choose between...

After you’ve picked out your braided style and you’ve secured that highly coveted Saturday AM appointment, there’s still one last thing you have to take care of: choosing your braiding hair. Most braiding hair brands use synthetic hair, which means the hair is made up of man-made fibers instead of real human hair. You can use human hair to braid—and certain looks, like human-hair box braids, require it—but it’s high-key expensive and not necessary for most styles.
Add these to your routine.
If there is one skin-care product I love more than sunscreen, it's vitamin C. It's an ingredient that can pretty much do it all, from diminishing dark spots and reducing hyperpigmentation to preventing aging concerns like fine lines and wrinkles. I have been searching high and low for the best vitamin C serums on the market, whether they are powerful and potent or simple and gentle. However, I have never tried or even heard of a vitamin C serum that incorporates CBD.
Add these to your grocery list.
Listen, don't even for a second be sad about how quickly summer comes and goes, because once you flip through this gallery of fall 2021 hair trends, you'll be racing to your salon to switch out that summer hair look of yours. Like, listen, I love long beach waves or braids as much as next person, but the very second the leaves start changing colors, I, too, start thinking about changing my hair color (...and cut and style). You love all the deets on hair trends.
When you desperately want longer hair—whether you're trying to grow out a haircut you're not feeling anymore or dealing with hair loss, a problem that affects 40 percent of women—looking in the mirror can get depressing, and waiting can feel like an eternity. Thankfully, there are steps you can take to speed up hair growth, like incorporating special shampoos into your routine. Can shampoo really promote hair growth?
It's surprisingly low-maintenance.
It was all one length and because I have loose wavy hair, all of the volume was at the ends. Luckily, my hairstylist Anabel Santos knew just what I needed: layers. My wavy hair also tends to be very frizzy so Santos treated it with the K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask ($75) after shampooing to help moisturize and repair any damage.
For anyone who has trouble picking a nail polish color even though it only lasts two weeks, picking a hair color can feel like an impossible task. If this sounds familiar, that's when it's time let your zodiac sign make the decision for you. You'll be surprised how free you'll feel when you take a note from the AstroTwins and leave your next hair color to the stars.
The longer bangs on Clarke's cut make it a great option for someone who wants to ease their way into a short style—or grow out the one they already have. The loose waves on one side with straight, tucked-back strands on the other is a work of art.
Can’t take my eyes off of you...
Filming kicked off last week.
The truth about this popular natural extract.
Its name may sound like a torture technique straight out of a Hitchcock film (or something you'd get from hanging with Edward Scissorhands for too long), but the "clavicut" actually leans more flattering than gruesome - and that is a very good thing, since it's the haircut trend everyone will be wearing these next few months. The cut is an appellation for where the hair hits and is the best of both worlds: short enough to pass as a long bob but long enough to wear in a ponytail. "The clavicut is a collarbone-grazing style that [looks good on] all hair types and face shapes," said master hairstylist Edward Tricomi of Warren Tricomi Salons (who, ironically, gave Tim Burton a cut that inspired the Scissorhands character).
If you have thick hair or a hair color that's not naturally light blonde, then you probably have had close encounters with peach fuzz, aka the teeny hairs that linger on your upper lip, cheeks, and other areas of your face. While you could just leave your peach fuzz and rock it, you might prefer a smoother feel. Unfortunately, trying to remove facial hair with chemical bleaches and painful waxes can make the whole hair removal process tiring.
No effort required.
