Here Are All The "She-Hulk" Details I Spotted In Episode 8, From Rogers The Musical To A Nod To J.A.R.V.I.S.

Hi, hello, and welcome back to these chaotic Marvel posts where I try to break down every detail or cool Easter egg. So, here are all the details I noticed in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 8:

1.First, this episode opens with us being introduced to Leap-Frog, who is a character from the Marvel comics. In the comics, Leap-Frog did have his villainous moments, but at one point he joins the Defenders and even helps Daredevil after having fought him a few times.
2.When Matt Murdock (!!!!!!!) enters the court and begins representing Luke Jacobson, he mentions that the Sokovia Accords have been repealed. Of course, the Sokovia Accords were first introduced in Captain America: Civil War and were a set of legal documents signed in order to regulate the activities of the Avengers and other heroes.
In the comics, Matt is supposed to represent Leap-Frog in court at one point, but is replaced by his BFF Foggy Nelson.
3.We got a glimpse of it in Episode 5 when Luke was making the suit, but now we finally have our first look at Daredevil's new suit in She-Hulk. You'll notice this time around, Daredevil's helmet is yellow, which is different than the one Matt wore in Netflix's Daredevil. In some of the Marvel comics, Daredevil's suit was actually yellow, too.
4.When Matt officially introduces his superhero identity to Jen, you can hear the original Daredevil theme song from the Netflix series playing in the background.
5.Behind Daredevil, you can spot a billboard for Rogers the Musical, which, of course, made its first appearance in Hawkeye when Clint attended a performance of the musical in Episode 1.
6.Outside the Lily Pad on a telephone pole, you can spot a QR code. Like other episodes, this QR code will take you to a free She-Hulk comic and follows the recent trend of Marvel hiding QR codes in almost every episode of their TV shows.
7.When Eugene is forcing Luke to create a new Leap-Frog suit, he mentions wanting to go all out for the next one and suggests a suit with fancy AI technology and a British voice that talks to him. Of course, this is a subtle nod to Iron Man's suit and J.A.R.V.I.S., who was voiced by Paul Bettany.
8.When Daredevil goes into Lily Pad to beat up Eugene's goons, the series does its own version of the classic hallway fights that were essential in the Daredevil Netflix series.
9.In Eugene's frog-themed lair, you can see a frog signal — kind of like the iconic Bat Signal — a frog parking only sign, and, of course, Frogger.
10.At the end of his fight with Daredevil and She-Hulk, Leap-Frog literally jumps out a window and ends up breaking his legs, which is something that has happened to the character in the comics as well. Notably, in one comic, Foggy Nelson represents Leap-Frog after he claims his shoes didn't work correctly, which is similar to his claims in She-Hulk.
11.When Jen realizes that the episode isn't over, she mentions Red Hulk. In the comics, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who we've met in the MCU before, becomes Red Hulk following his daughter's death. Of course, the name drop of Red Hulk comes after Thunderbolts was just announced by Marvel, and rumors that Ross could be recast following William Hurt's death.
12.Also, at this moment, Jen references "getting fridged," which is likely a reference to the "women in refrigerators" trope. Notably coined by writer Gail Simone in reference to comic books, it often refers to when female comic book characters are brutalized and/or killed off in a gruesome fashion. The term stemmed from an issue of Green Lantern, where his girlfriend is killed and shoved into a fridge.
13.And finally, when Nikki jumps into Jen's kitchen and is ready to do Jen's makeup for the gala, she's holding the makeup brushes like Wolverine's claws. This is one of several X-Men nods in She-Hulk, and this comes after it was announced that Hugh Jackman will reprise his iconic role in Deadpool 3.
