The reality TV couple supposedly called it quits back in February. A source shared with, The Sun “Amy says Michael is lazy and has been jealous of her attention toward the kids.” The source also shared that “They’ve been having trouble since last year.”

Some of the drama plays out on the latest episodes of the popular TLC show, Slaton who has just given birth to their youngest son is frustrated with Halterman because he doesn’t appear to be helping do anything.

“You’re not supposed to be doing this sh-t by yourself,” says one of Slaton’s older sisters. “You are married and have a husband, and he is supposed to be being a dad too.” Meanwhile, Halterman is laying back in a chair and chugging a beer and laughing it p with friends.

The scene really doesn’t look good and was clearly foreshadowing what is happening present day.

Slaton also shared with The Sun last February that she and Halterman were considering a break from filming the show. He was having issues with the time it was taking up. “If they cut down my hours, I’ll be probably fine,” she said of the filming.

“I like the crew most, filming can be stressful, you’re there all day and you have to say stuff over and over again. I love the relationship with the crew. But it’s stressful right now, he [Gage] needs a lot of attention.”

It was only a few months ago that Slaton was praising her husband for being very supportive of her. “I can tell him anything and everything. And Michael’s really supportive of me helping Tammy.”

Back in 2020 when the show premiered, she introduced Halterman as her world. “My husband Michael, he means the world to me. Me and Michael are newlyweds but we’ve been together four years now.”

It’s a stark contrast from some of the ways she is describing him on the show currently. “Daddy ain’t doin’ s**t. Sometimes I feel like I got three kids,” she mumbled to herself while filming once.

The one thing she is forever grateful for is her two sons and seeing as she took them when she moved out earlier this year we could assume she may be the primary parent.
