Beauty Vlogger Stacks 100 Bindis on Her Forehead
The madness continues: “100 layers of…” videos have hit every makeup trend out there, and now they’re expanding to include beauty beyond cosmetics — first hijabs, and now bindis. Beauty vlogger Nabela Noor took some inspiration from her friend and fellow YouTuber Dina Tokio, who did a 100 Layers of Scarves video, in which she piled on her favorite hijabs, and now Noor is putting her own spin on it.
The Bangladeshi American vlogger pulled out packs of her favorite bindis to do some layering of her own — and while she laughed through it, she certainly wasn’t happy about wasting so many of her dearest accessory. “This is the ultimate sacrifice,” she jokes in the video. “Do you know how much I love collecting bindis?! This is, like, emotional.”
Hilarity ensues throughout the video, as the challenge takes “100 layers of…” to new heights — or should I say lengths? So much so that (spoiler alert!) she doesn’t actually make it to 100 bindis. “OK, 78 seems like almost our tipping point,” Noor says, as you see the bindi mountain beginning to fall.
The final result is a stack of 80 bindis protruding from the vlogger’s forehead, which she jokes will be a good way to rock them when she attends her next wedding. This pile, deemed a “bindicorn” by viewers, is certainly a unique look — but we’re sure YouTubers will only continue to get more creative with the 100-layers-themed craziness.
