A cotton T-shirt is typically just about the safest, most chill thing you could put on in the morning but this spring, all that is changing. Bold, graphic stripes are having a moment this season, and T-shirts were among the first category of clothing to get the treatment. In some cases the stripes feel a bit '70s, calling to mind Kevin Arnold on The Wonder Years, while in others, they skew more '50s greaser. Either way, we like them styled with slouchy trousers, bare ankles, and casual lace-up shoes; the same as if you were wearing an oxford shirt or nice sweater. Ordinary T-shirts don't require such polish but these are far from ordinary.
