Some people are all about the thrill – traveling to cities like Baghdad or Cairo or Port-au-Price where there is rich culture but also unrest and even danger. Then there are rest of us, who prefer to visit a place where we don’t have to worry about being kidnapped, shot at, or robbed. To that end, the Economist Intelligence Unit has ranked 50 of the world’s largest cities in terms of safety. The criteria looked at included infrastructure, health services, personal safety, and cyber security. Here are the places that came out on top.
