Twitter Tackles Donald Trump Jr. For Ripping Media After Washington Post Super Bowl Ad
Donald Trump Jr. lashed out on Twitter Sunday after The Washington Post aired a Super Bowl ad praising journalism, blasting the media’s “leftist BS” and suggesting journalists could save money by reporting the news “for a change.”
You know how MSM journalists could avoid having to spend millions on a #superbowl comercial to gain some undeserved credibility?
How about report the news and not their leftist BS for a change.— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) February 4, 2019
Twitter users were quick to remind Trump Jr. of the sacrifice made by journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed last year. The CIA has said Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the attack, which President Donald Trump has not acknowledged.
Others pointed out to the president’s son that a history of lies challenges his own family’s credibility.
Is that what Jamal Khosshogi should have done?

This how the President’s child reacted to the Washington Post’s #SuperBowl commercial that honored journalists, including those who lost their lives like Jamal Khashoggi.
Trying to discredit the media won’t change the fact you lied to Congress junior.https://t.co/M9gVUVLTq5— Ahmed Baba (@AhmedBaba_) February 4, 2019
Wow. How low can you go? Especially when they honored some of those who gave their lives to report the truth. What are you willing to give your life for?

"Leftist bs" is actually fact-based and peer-reviewed journalist. Which is almost like seeing it in a movie and thinking it's real, but not.

They should do an S&L skit about it

Like when they reported your illegal meeting with the Russians & you lied & said it was about adoptions? Or your father said there was no contact between the campaign & Russians or denied he’d paid off porn stars to cover up his affairs & the press was right & you guys lied?

CORRECTION: Due to an editing error, a previous version of this story mistakenly indicated Khasoggi was killed in Saudi Arabia. He was killed in Turkey.
