7-Year-Old Girl With Brain Tumor Gets Surprise Visit From Her Favorite Singer
While undergoing chemotherapy, Tori Svenson, 7, felt well enough one day to lip sync the song that helps keep her going, Francesca Battistelli's "Angel By My Side."
The YouTube video inspired thousands, including Battistelli, who surprised the young cancer fighter on the set of CNN.
"I was blown away," Battistelli told Tori. "It was just amazing. My heart was just swelling the whole time."

But it wasn't just Tori's will to get up out of bed and belt out Battistelli's hopeful lyrics that was amazing. It's the fact that she's been pushing back against cancer since before she was diagnosed.
Tori competed in a "Relay for Life" beauty pageant to raise money for a 3-year-old battling a brain tumor in her neighborhood. The day she went to deliver the funds she had raised in April, Tori found out she too had cancer.
