LOOK: Tisch Gala Hosts Film Heavyweights
New York University hosted the 2012 Tisch Gala on Thursday, where some of the school's most notable alumni Alec Baldwin, Martin Scorsese, and Spike Lee celebrated 20 years of leadership by Dean Mary Schmidt Campbell.
The evening even brought out Baldwin's new fiancee Hilaria Thomas sporting her megawatt engagement ring. Early in April, the actor blasted the media, specifically the "Today" show and The Daily News for invading the couple's privacy over photos of the ring.
Also present was playwright and alumni Tony Kushner who was all smiles at Thursday's gala, praising Dean Campbell as "a leader, an organizer of human energy, she's the Dean of Deans, the Dean's Dean, the Dean to end all Deans, the Deaniest."
