YEA OR NAY: Thandie Newton's Bold Beaded Dress

Stars love to razzle dazzle and actress Thandie Newton did just that last night in New York City while attending the premiere of her new DirecTV drama series, Rogue.

The 40-year-old star opted for a beaded vintage Swee Lo dress, sliver clutch and black pointy-toed pumps to celebrate the occasion. Eye-catching stars, stripes and a few letters (that don't seem to spell out anything) gave Thandie a distinctive '80s look. But the '80s are back, right?

Either way, the London-based beauty looks great. We're especially loving Thandie's sleek ponytail and bright poppy-hued pout.
