WATCH: Paula Deen Addresses Matt Lauer In Apology Video

Paula Deen addressed her canceled appearance on "Today" in two separate videos released on Friday.

The videos—which were unpolished and appeared to be off-the-cuff—were released just before the Food Network announced that it would not be renewing her contract. Both said very similar things, and it was not clear why Deen felt the need to release so many different apologies.

Deen was supposed to appear on the show Friday to address the swirling controversy surrounding her repeated use of the n-word but bailed last minute, which led a clearly infuriated Matt Lauer to call her out on national television.

In the second video (the first was taken down on more than one occasion), Deen addressed Lauer and her "Today" cancellation before she apologized to the rest of the world.

"I was invited this morning to speak with Matt Lauer about a subject that has been very hurtful for a lot of people, and Matt, I have to say, I was physically not able this morning," she said, adding, "I want people to understand that my family and I are not the kind of people that the press is wanting to say we are."

In her third apology video, Deen told Lauer that she was a "strong woman" but the "past 48 hours have been very, very hard and this morning I was not" a strong woman.
