Olivia Palermo Can Wear Sweats And STILL Make The Best-Dressed List

This week, Olivia Palermo landed on our best-dressed list basically in sweats. Yes, that's right. The 30-year-old style maven outdid herself in what could be the comfiest (and chicest) outfit of 2016.

And she wasn't the only star whose look we envied. Kate Hudson changed it up in a long, white gown, Queen Latifah wowed in a sheath dress and Naomi Watts rocked black and blue with much success.

Check out our favorite looks of the week and let us know what you think:

You can look stylish AND be comfortable.

Olivia Palermo in Pringle of Scotland: If you don't want to live in this outfit, then you're lying to yourself. Palermo basically managed to wear sweats in public and make them look chic. BRB, taking notes.

Step outside of your comfort zone.

Kate Hudson in J. Mendel: We're used to seeing Hudson in dresses that are tight and short, so this long, flowing gown is a nice departure. The plunging neckline shows off her beautiful lob and her lipstick adds the perfect pop of color.

A leather jacket goes over everything.

Jessica Alba in Brock Collection: The perfect way to toughen up a girlie dress is with a leather jacket.

A great silhouette is half the battle.

Queen Latifah: We love sheath dresses. Not only are they extremely flattering, but they work on most body types. And this color is really punching up the look.

Dare to go red.

Lily Aldridge in Dion Lee: The supermodel looks red hot in this dress. While the tight fit, low neckline and cut-outs could be too much, they are balanced out by a longer hemline.

Black and blue is a great color combination.

Naomi Watts in Self Portrait: This lace dress is so pretty and delicate. We especially love the blue detail on the bottom and the cinching around the waist.

Fit is key.

Michelle Monaghan in Victoria Beckham: Between the expert draping, the high neckline and the cinched in waist, this ensemble is a home run.

You can wear basics on the red carpet.

Chloe Grace Moretz in Proenza Schouler and Wolford: We love this look because it's very attainable. Most people have a long-sleeved black shirt, and when paired with fancier bottoms, it can be red carpet (or wedding, or cocktail party) appropriate.

Black isn't boring.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Head-to-toe black can make for an eye-catching outfit, provided you go for pieces with interesting details. Here, Paltrow's wide-legged pants and frilly top make her look fashion-forward.

Wrap dresses are flattering and versatile.

Shay Mitchell in Temperley London: This right here is proof that wrap dresses are anything but boring. Mitchell's silk-chiffon dress, complete with bugle beads, mirrored paillettes and crystals, update the wrap dress in all the right ways.

Blondes look great in purple.

Reese Witherspoon in David Koma: This shade of purple looks so rich on the blonde beauty. It really works to brighten her complexion and make her standout amidst a sea of neutral-colored dresses.

Try out neons.

Lupita Nyong'o in Dolce & Gabbana: Nyong'o's dress looks like a breath of spring. The neon hue could be too bright, but with those delicate white flowers and her minimal accessories, it's making just the right statement.

Think about your outfit from all angles.

Charlize Theron in Dior: Can we get a moment of silence for that slit, please? It looks like decades in the spotlight have taught Theron how to make a statement on the red carpet. And you can believe that this is a look we won't be forgetting anytime soon.

Don't be afraid to wear a ball gown.

Lea Michele in Elie Saab: This could be our favorite Lea Michele look... ever. The sheer detailing, full ball gown skirt and low neckline are making the actress look like she is straight out of a fairytale.

Muted colors are great for spring.

Naomi Watts in Valentino: This dress is whimsical in just the right way. The muted blue color and long hemline give it a fashion-forward feel, while the embellishments add a hint of playfulness.

Sometimes it's better to look white hot than red hot.

Kelly Rowland: OK, our jaws just hit the floor. This white jumpsuit is hitting it out of the park. The fit, the color and that neckline... A+.

Go for a one-shoulder dress.

Uzo Aduba in Elizabeth Kennedy: Aduba's one-shoulder crepe evening gown is hugging her in all the right places. And that color? Come on, it couldn't be more perfect for her complexion.

Break out the bold colors.

Ashley Greene in Narciso Rodriguez: This color is doing the actress all kinds of favors. It not only brightens up her complexion, but it also makes her shiny hair pop. We are so happy to be seeing more bright hues as the weather heats up.

Keep the print you love, but change up the silhouette.

Lauren Conrad in Alice + Olivia: Conrad usually goes for flirty, ultra-feminine dresses, so this sleek, tight-fitting midi dress is a nice change. It still gives a nod to her girlie style (with the floral print), but the silhouette is a little more grown-up.

You can wear a sheer dress with a plunging neckline.

Kristen Bell in Reem Acra: Now this is a dress. There is a lot going on, what with the plunging neck, the embellishments and the sheer skirt, but somehow it all works. Since the color and design are simple, the actress really looks like the Bell of the ball.

Neutrals on neutrals always work.

Emily Blunt in Narciso Rodriguez: This looks is reminding us a lot of Kim Kardashian West's pregnancy style and we love it. The neutral colors are so sleek and we love that she added a warm lip color to soften the look.

It's OK to match your friend.

Tina Fey and Ellie Kemper: Everything is better in twos! Fey and Kemper look adorable (and coordinated) in their blue dresses. Kemper looks cute and fun in her printed floral number, while Fey looks polished in her longer striped gown.

It's OK to stick to what you know.

Claire Danes in Narciso Rodriguez: Danes basically wears the same thing all the time, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. She has found a silhouette that works for her and she rocks it in different colors. Having a uniform makes life so much simpler.

Dare to go short.

Charlize Theron in Chloe and Saint Laurent: Who says you can't wear miniskirts in your 40s? Here, Theron is rocking this adorable skirt with a sophisticated blouse and some killer heels. Her slicked back hair and bold red lipstick are making this one look to remember.

Yes, you can match your shoes to your handbag.

Reese Witherspoon in Draper James: When we picture spring, we picture this exact photo. Witherspoon's bright yellow accessories are a nice contrast to her blue skirt (and note how she matched her purse to her heels). Her look is like a breath of fresh air.

Mix florals with black.

Kelly Rowland: It might still feel a little early for florals, but Rowland grounded her bright dress with a black coat and black strappy heels. Because of the darker hue, her entire ensemble feels seasonally appropriate.

There are many different ways to look chic.

Michelle Obama and Juliana Awada: It's a first lady showdown! Michelle Obama looks stunning in her bright blue dress, but the first lady of Argentina is also bringing it in her white wrap jacket. We'll call it a tie.

Dark green is a nice stand in for black.

Claire Danes in Narciso Rodriguez: When she brings it, she brings it. This simple dress is so striking because of the rich color and perfect fit. Nicely done, Danes.

Pick an interesting neckline.

Kaia Gerber in Alexander Wang: If you don't know about Kaia Gerber, it's time you memorize her name. Cindy Crawford's daughter is just starting to make her mark in the modeling industry and she's starting off with a bang in this stunning, age appropriate gown.

Wear white now.

Whitney Port: Where has Port been the past couple of months? Maybe she has been working on this outfit, because it's especially on point. The white strapless dress pairs perfectly with her red lipstick and low pony.

A suit can be sexy.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Chloe and Saint Laurent: Any time we see a suit on the red carpet, we get excited -- it's such a refreshing change. The stripe on her pants, combined with the relaxed-fit of the blazer, hit the mark.

The length of a dress can completely change its vibe.

Emmy Rossum in Oscar de la Renta: Now this is a party dress! The tea length and bold color make Rossum look like she's ready to get down on the dance floor.

There's beauty in a subtle statement.

Jessica Biel in Zuhair Murad: This gown strikes the perfect balance between stunning and subtle. The high slit and sheer top make a bold statement, but the muted color and delicate train ensure that it doesn't skew costume-y.

Have fun with bows.

Margot Robbie in Cushnie et Ochs: While this photo doesn't do Robbie's outfit justice, you can see how amazing it is, even while she's sitting down. Her jumpsuit, with the bow detail and cut-out, is so incredibly sexy, without being overt.

Evening wear can be comfortable.

Jessica Alba in Roberto Cavalli: We think it's safe to say that Alba had the most comfortable (and chic) ensemble of the night. Her plunging, white jersey dress complements her honey complexion, and that statement necklace is adding just the right amount of visual interest.
