This week, Olivia Palermo landed on our best-dressed list basically in sweats. Yes, that's right. The 30-year-old style maven outdid herself in what could be the comfiest (and chicest) outfit of 2016.
And she wasn't the only star whose look we envied. Kate Hudson changed it up in a long, white gown, Queen Latifah wowed in a sheath dress and Naomi Watts rocked black and blue with much success.

Olivia Palermo in Pringle of Scotland: If you don't want to live in this outfit, then you're lying to yourself. Palermo basically managed to wear sweats in public and make them look chic. BRB, taking notes.

Kate Hudson in J. Mendel: We're used to seeing Hudson in dresses that are tight and short, so this long, flowing gown is a nice departure. The plunging neckline shows off her beautiful lob and her lipstick adds the perfect pop of color.

Queen Latifah: We love sheath dresses. Not only are they extremely flattering, but they work on most body types. And this color is really punching up the look.

Lily Aldridge in Dion Lee: The supermodel looks red hot in this dress. While the tight fit, low neckline and cut-outs could be too much, they are balanced out by a longer hemline.

Chloe Grace Moretz in Proenza Schouler and Wolford: We love this look because it's very attainable. Most people have a long-sleeved black shirt, and when paired with fancier bottoms, it can be red carpet (or wedding, or cocktail party) appropriate.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Head-to-toe black can make for an eye-catching outfit, provided you go for pieces with interesting details. Here, Paltrow's wide-legged pants and frilly top make her look fashion-forward.

Reese Witherspoon in David Koma: This shade of purple looks so rich on the blonde beauty. It really works to brighten her complexion and make her standout amidst a sea of neutral-colored dresses.

Lupita Nyong'o in Dolce & Gabbana: Nyong'o's dress looks like a breath of spring. The neon hue could be too bright, but with those delicate white flowers and her minimal accessories, it's making just the right statement.

Charlize Theron in Dior: Can we get a moment of silence for that slit, please? It looks like decades in the spotlight have taught Theron how to make a statement on the red carpet. And you can believe that this is a look we won't be forgetting anytime soon.

Lea Michele in Elie Saab: This could be our favorite Lea Michele look... ever. The sheer detailing, full ball gown skirt and low neckline are making the actress look like she is straight out of a fairytale.

Naomi Watts in Valentino: This dress is whimsical in just the right way. The muted blue color and long hemline give it a fashion-forward feel, while the embellishments add a hint of playfulness.

Kristen Bell in Reem Acra: Now this is a dress. There is a lot going on, what with the plunging neck, the embellishments and the sheer skirt, but somehow it all works. Since the color and design are simple, the actress really looks like the Bell of the ball.

Emily Blunt in Narciso Rodriguez: This looks is reminding us a lot of Kim Kardashian West's pregnancy style and we love it. The neutral colors are so sleek and we love that she added a warm lip color to soften the look.

Tina Fey and Ellie Kemper: Everything is better in twos! Fey and Kemper look adorable (and coordinated) in their blue dresses. Kemper looks cute and fun in her printed floral number, while Fey looks polished in her longer striped gown.

Claire Danes in Narciso Rodriguez: Danes basically wears the same thing all the time, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. She has found a silhouette that works for her and she rocks it in different colors. Having a uniform makes life so much simpler.

Charlize Theron in Chloe and Saint Laurent: Who says you can't wear miniskirts in your 40s? Here, Theron is rocking this adorable skirt with a sophisticated blouse and some killer heels. Her slicked back hair and bold red lipstick are making this one look to remember.

Reese Witherspoon in Draper James: When we picture spring, we picture this exact photo. Witherspoon's bright yellow accessories are a nice contrast to her blue skirt (and note how she matched her purse to her heels). Her look is like a breath of fresh air.

Kelly Rowland: It might still feel a little early for florals, but Rowland grounded her bright dress with a black coat and black strappy heels. Because of the darker hue, her entire ensemble feels seasonally appropriate.
