Maggie Gyllenhaal Just Starred In Three Movies That Opened On The Same Day

After a brief hiatus from gracing silver screens, Maggie Gyllenhaal is now in three movies at the same time.
While you spent last weekend just drinking whiskey, Gyllenhaal convinced the Jameson brand to give her the starring role in three short films for their “First Shot” competition. The contest allowed first-time writers and directors to pitch a movie to Jameson, with Gyllenhaal selecting which three would get made.
Along with actor Kevin Spacey and studio president Dana Brunetti, Gyllenhaal guided the first-timers in how to get to the finish line of their productions. “It was an artistic relationship, like you would have with any director,” Gyllenhaal told The Huffington Post.
Although the movies were sponsored by Jameson, Gyllenhaal said there were no whiskey parties or whiskey-fueled bonding. When asked if Jameson had at least provided whiskey on set, the actress laughed and said, “They did not.”
