WATCH: A 'Biblical' Alternative To Health Insurance?
As Americans struggle to keep up with rising health care costs, some Christians are opting out of traditional insurance and instead relying on prayer and a unique financial sharing program to pay the bills. The programs are known as health care sharing ministries, and because they're established as nonprofits, they are exempt from state and federal law. Robert Baldwin, the national policy director of the Florida-based Christian Care Ministry, joined HuffPost Live Wednesday to explain his group's philosophy.
