Mansion cost $40 million to build, yours for $14 million

The Rose Hill estate in Suwanee, Georgia, just got a big price reduction.

The 35,100-square-foot Southern plantation-style mansion on 14.5 acres was built in 2010 for a total of $40 million, and had no live-in owners, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

It is now listed for sale through Sotheby's International Realty for $13.99 million.

This eight-bedroom, 17-bath home comes with a 14-car garage and wine cellar. Outside there are multiple verandas as well as a pool patio, with a pool house, for entertaining.

True to its name, the mansion's grounds are adorned with roses, which is fitting since one of the most unique features of the estate is its dedicated "flower room." Outfitted with refrigeration, cabinets, sinks and arranging tables, the room's sole purpose is caring for flowers.
