What Body Type Does Your Guy Go Gaga Over?

Men like big butts because studies just don’t lie—or something like that. According to new research from the University of Texas at Austin, men prefer women with spinal curves that promote a poppin’ booty—for reproductive purposes, of course, because lumbar curvature subconsciously indicates women’s ability to bear children. I’d also bet female superstars Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Sofia Vergara, and Kim Kardashian have a little something to do with big butts being on so many men’s minds.

But not all men are butt men, right? From our heads to our toes, there’s plenty to love and lust over. Here are some other parts your guy just might go gaga for.

Big eyes. Men can get lost for hours—OK, maybe minutes—in eyes so large they belong on a Disney princess. For these guys, anything is yours if you bat your baby blues or playfully stare in a way that sheds light on why Van Morrison sang “Brown Eyed Girl.”

Full lips. When mouth men spot a pouty pucker, it’s all they can do to resist kissing you—and then some. So don’t get offended if your guy spends so much time admiring your lips that he doesn’t process what’s coming out of them!

Breasts. Do you have them? Then there’s a guy who likes them. If they’re on the small side, there are guys who appreciate how they defy gravity. Large and in charge? Plenty of men will have trouble keeping their eyes above your collar bone. Even my guy has been caught with his eyes downcast when I’ve worn a particularly good push-up bra around my B-cups!

Defined abs. Every Sports Illustrated swimsuit-clad cover model has cut-from-stone abs for a reason—and I’m inclined to think it’s because a number of men must appreciate those lines as much as the body parts hidden behind the bikini. (Side note: Want abs like Kate Upton? Uh, me too, and you can get them with this Glamour.com workout!)

Curvaceous calves. Men often notice two things when you slip into heels: How tall you suddenly appear, especially if they make you teeter toward the top of his head, and how your calve muscles look shapely and oh so sexy.

So, is your guy a butt guy as the study might indicate, or does he go gaga for another one of your features? What about past loves? Guy friends? Do they have a body “type” they fall for?
